Fencing through Europe - The Beauty of Sports Fencing
"For three months we went travelling through Germany, France, Spain and Portugal, living with our little son in a bus and taking fencing videos in front of the most beautiful sceneries at beaches, forests, monuments, historical cities...
We tried to show the most beautiful side of sports fencing, which requires speed, accuracy and strategy at the same time and eventually unifies those qualities in a wonderful elegance. Unfortunatelly this sport remained widely unknown because it's normally practiced indoors. We want to bring it to the people and out into the world so that everyone can enjoy those fascinating pictures.

Fencing is the martial art of fighting with blades. The common version of fencing today, also called olympic fencing is divided into three weapon categories: foil, sabre (spelled saber in the United States) and épée. Classical fencing uses the same weapons, but approaches fencing as a martial art.
Competitive fencing is one of five activities which have been featured in every one of the modern Olympic Games, the other four being Athletics, Cycling, Swimming, and Gymnastics.
