Venezuela: Victims of Opposition Violence Present Case to EU

Victims of violence at opposition protests known as “guarimbas” are presenting their case to the European Union in Belgium. Last year’s protests in a number of cities left 43 people dead, many more injured, and caused millions of dollars in damage. Representatives of the Committee of the Victims of Guarimbas hope to inform the EU Parliament of the tactics used by the opposition.
