Korean Air has signed deals with Airbus and Boeing to buy one-hundred next-generation aircraft.
The Korean carrier says it signed MOUs with the two aircraft makers during the Paris Air Show on Tuesday.
The deals will see Korean Air buy 30 A321neo planes from Airbus and have the right to purchase 20 more, and 30 Boeing 737 Max jets and have options for another 20.
It also placed a commitment to purchase two extended-range 777-300 planes from Boeing.
The largest ever single order by a Korean carrier is costing Korean Air some 12-point-two billion U.S. dollars.
The aircraft will be delivered gradually between 2019 and 2025.
