Research on power generation through geothermal process to cost Rs 60-70 crores - Tv9 Gujarati

Gandhinagar: After wind and solar power, state is all set to tap another unconventional source of energy. The state government is planning to explore the feasibility of geothermal energy. The Centre of Excellence for Geothermal Energy (CEGE) at the state-based Pandit Deendayal Petroleum University (PDPU), an industry-government initiative to create a talent pool for the energy field is conducting research which is going to cost around Rs.60 to 70 crores. As per experts, it will take 2 and half years for this research.
