One Inch WORM Removed from Underneath Boy’s Eye

This footage shows a daring operation to remove a nasty insect from underneath the eye of a 17-year-old Peruvian boy at the National Children's Hospital in Lima. The boy had felt swelling in his face and went to the doctor. An MRI scan revealed that a one inch worm had been living under the boy's eyelid for a month. Doctors used basil to lure the worm out of the boy's eye before using tweezers to pull the critter out from underneath the boy’s eye completely.
