Amid the glamour of reaching the top of the world’s second highest mountain, the K2, some of the people who make this whole journey happen are mostly forgotten or not even remembered at all.
K2 & The Invisible Footmen is an upcoming documentary directed by Lara Lee and edited by Jawad Sharif under the label of Bipolar Films. The documentary was filmed during summer 2014 that marked the 60th anniversary of K2’s first ever accent.
The documentary will bring give an inside perspective of the porters of Karakorum who according some porters themselves have somehow become just like ‘donkeys’.
