New toxin-free wrinkle treatment could replace Botox

A new treatment known as 'frolox' may soon replace the popular Botox as a toxin free alternative to combating wrinkles.
Developed in California by a technology group called Myoscience, the procedure calls for the administration of two cold injections into each temple, causing temporary relief from wrinkles.
The treatment, called Iovera, involves placing liquid nitrogen next to nerves that control wrinkle-causing muscles. The result puts those nerves into a hibernation for up to four months. The alternative, if true, would best the popular treatment called Botox that leaves a foreign substance beneath the skin's surface.
The procedure only takes 15 minutes and the effects are seen immediately, also unlike Botox, which takes four days to work.
