Crane arm crashes into ninth floor of Empire Tower

No injuries were reported from an incident where a crane arm crashed through a ninth floor window of the Empire Tower on Tuesday afternoon. Witnesses in the office say it was fortunate that no one was sitting near the window when the crane arm crashed through it. The owner of the site that was operating the crane said the machinery was faulty and unlocked, allowing it to be easily blown by the wind.
