Crane Crashes Through Roof in Botched Wedding Proposal

A wedding proposal in the Dutch village of Ijsselstein went horribly wrong on Saturday, December 13, when a crane crashed through a roof. A man had hired the crane to lower him outside his girlfriend’s window to make the proposal, and instead it crashed into a neighbor’s roof. Police evacuated six nearby houses following the accident but no one was injured.
