Check out how these tenants from hell trashed their apartment

Two young women from Hong Kong rented an apartment in Taipei, Taiwan during January. They bolted without paying their rent, and left the place looking like a tornado hit it.

Smelly and dirty rooms, broken furniture and equipment are everywhere. The tenants also acted maliciously by throwing cigarettes down the toilet to clog it. Also making the gross-out list--Maxi pads and blood-stained period panties strewn all over the place.

The renters, identified as 20-year-old Zeng (曾), and 19-year-old Chiou (邱) arrived in Taipei, Taiwan on visitors visas, renting the flat in Taipei's Da'an District in January.

Claiming to be college students attending National Taiwan University of Arts, they told the landlord that they came to Taiwan to study, but their parents had not transferred any money from overseas. The landlord agreed to lower the rent to about US$300 a month (NT$9,000).

Even so, the pair still didn't cough up the cheddar. But judging from their pictures posted on various social networking sites, they had enough money to hit all the top Taipei nightclubs every single night.

On 24 February, the landlord came to the flat to collect the rent, but found that his tenants had already left. The women even stole a 37-inch LED TV, leaving the suite in a horrible condition, with damages reaching the equivalent of US$1,000 (NT$30,000).

The women were arrested on 11 March in the Tamsui District (淡水) of Taipei. Police said they allegedly forged documents to trick the landlord, and even the home addresses in Hong Kong they gave to police were false.
