Wife of a Taiwanese technology company owner, surnamed Zheng, lately discovered evidence of her dead husband's secret sex life. Several lewd message exchanges and naked videos of Zheng trimming pubic hair of his lover, surnamed Mao, was found in his laptop.
After checking the inventory of Zheng's properties, the wife discovered an approximate USD$330,000 worth house property and cash equivalent to USD$67,000 given from her husband to his lover.
The wife decided to bring this affair to court. However, the case was then dropped due to the insufficient evidence for infidelity as the videos didn't show intercourse between the couple.
Zheng, owner of a tech company located at Taiwan's Hsinchu Science and Industrial Park, passed away last June. His wife didn't start organizing his belongings till this month.
Out of her surprise, she found evidence of her husband having an affair and copy of reconciliation agreement for the infidelity between her dead husband and the lover's husband. The agreement written by Zheng says, "I and Mao were busted by police in a motel. I'm willing to pay USD$8400 as compensation." Adultery is a felony in Taiwan and is punished when the offended party finds out.
The 46-year-old lover claims at the court that she thought Zheng had divorced and that the only act they engaged was hair trimming but not intercourse.
The prosecutor thought the video couldn't prove infidelity as it didn't show intercourse.
In addition, as the property and cash was given to the lover under Zheng's sanity, they should be regarded as gifts.
The lewd messages and naked videos found in Zheng's computer could only prove the unusual relationship between the two. Thus, the charge was dropped.
