How can Intel's Compute Stick improve your smart TV?

The initiative was conceptualized by Intel in 2014 and has since grown into a multi-stakeholder effort, helped along by volunteers. Intel foresees that as more Filipinos become computer literate, they will need access to affordable devices. The company is offering what it calls a "Compute Stick" or a low-cost computer that can be plugged into any TV with an HDMI port.
