Good Samaritans Save Man in Wheelchair Who Fell on Subway Tracks

On a normal day at Washington D.C.’s U Street Subway Station, one man in a motorized wheelchair drove off the platform and plummeted onto the tracks below with the wheelchair clattering down with him just before 1.30 pm local. Although the reasons remain unclear as to why the man drove off the platform, his fellow passengers quickly mobilized and two men risked their own lives to drop down onto the tracks to help the injured man, becoming heroes in the process.
