Hi everyone! You knew this one was coming, right?! Hehe~ I'm back with another English JKT48/AKB48 cover-- this time it's "Pareo is Your Emerald" (AKA Pareo Adalah Emerald, Pareo wa Emerald), English version. These are the official JKT48 English lyrics, and they're really sweet, I think! They talk about a girl growing up and encountering romance on her journey through life. ♡
Just last weekend, I spent some time on an island and really got thinking about this song... it was on my to-do list for cover songs as I had more time to practice, but I think being out in ~the ocean breeze~ really encouraged me to do this one first!
Thank you once again to everyone who's been supporting me and listening to my covers! I really enjoy covering JKT48 songs, not only because they create official English versions of the AKB48 songs I love so much, but also because I want to support the girls themselves.
