Domestic abuse: Gf reports jealous bf for beating and threatening to cut off her head

In Taoyuan, just outside of Taipei city a girl reported her boyfriend for beating and threatening her.
Apparently, as the story goes, the 20-year-old boyfriend, identified by his last name Zhang, was jealous and unhappy that his girlfriend had phone numbers from other men in her phone. It had been a repeated point of contention for the couple.
But then last week, Zhang came home and said he’d seen his girlfriend on the back of some other guy’s scooter. They argued and when the argument escalated the boyfriend grabbed the girl by the collar and slapped her several times.
He then beat her with a metal chair, until he’d bent the chair out of shape, then he took her phone and smashed it into the floor.
Zhang told her that if he ever caught her accepting rides from other men he’d cut off her head.
After reporting the incident to police a judge in Taoyuan has slapped the ex-boyfriend with charges of assault, abuse, intimidation, and threats of homicide.
Next step is to see how much time the judge will sentence him to do.
