Should have sex before marriage? After marriage? Outside marriage? Or no sex at all? That's My Choice, says Deepika Padukone, as a part of Vogue empower initiative.
The short film shot by filmmaker Homi Adjania, "My Choice", is stunning Indian audiences at the moment. The black-and-white video shows the leggy lass calling for a change in the caged mindset of men about women and asking them to stop judging the fairer sex for their choices of profession, life and clothes.
While it's Dippy Baby’s voice that has been used as the voice over, there are also other known faces which come and go as the video goes on.
The aim of the Vogue Empower initiative, launched with the 7th anniversary issue, is to encourage people to think, talk and act in ways big or small on issues pertaining to women's empowerment.
