Farhan Akhtar Talks About Women Empowerment And Supports Deepika's 'My Choice'

The all rounder of Bollywood, Farhan Akhtar was recently seen lending his support to an issue which is on high priority in our country. The actor and director also spoke about Deepika Padukone's much hyped 'My Choice' video and said that the actress should be commended for taking this effort. Farhan is a founder of an organisation called MARD (Men Against Rape and Descrimination) which has joined hands with the women centric television show Main Kuch Bhi Kar Sakti Hun. At the event Farhan also talked about the crime against women these days and said that his organisation is trying to find new and innovative content to let the message of women empowerment spread. In the past, Farhan has brought together his friends from the industry to support his message like Shah Rukh Khan, Hrithik Roshan and Priyanka Chopra. On the work front, the actor is gearing up for his upcoming Dil Dhadakne Do which is directed by his sister Zoya Akhtar. The trailer of the film was recently released and has gained a lot of positive response.
