Universal Pictures has announced that they are moving forward with their plan to remake the classic film ‘Scarface’. According to the Hollywood Reporter, they’ve hired Jonathan Herman, the man instrumental in penning ‘Straight Outta Compton,’ to do the rewrites.

This will be the second time the film has been given an update. It was first released in 1932, and then revamped in 1980s.

The first visual telling of the story took place in Chicago, and the following one unfolded in Miami.
