FARC rejects establishment of Advisory Peace Commission

The Revolutionary Armed Forces of Colombia (FARC), now engaged in peace talks with the Colombian government, spoke out against the unilateral creation of the Advisory Peace Commission by President Juan Manuel Santos. FARC leaders point to the lack of diversity in the composition of the commission, charging that it mirrors old forms of political and social exclusion, that have led to the violence, poverty and social marginalization suffered by the people for decades. teleSUR
