Amtrak's Sunset Limited, Post Oak Crossing 7/15/07

This video was originally posted on YouTube (by myself, of course). Here is the text provided from that site:

WITH SOUND!!! (I'm afraid YouTube still takes away the syncronicity). Finally away from the silent zone crossings, plus receiving a day off of work, I finally nailed an eastbound train heading into Houston. The only downside is that this means the train has to be rather late for there to be this much sunlight (see: scheduled ETA of 5:45 CDT), and sadly such is the case this time: at 2:07 pm, this train is running practically 9 hours late as it hurries onward towards the station before proceeding onward.

In passing, for those who may wonder about difference between the typical crossings and then this one, the track curves from the branch and heads on down Alt. 90 until Richmond, TX. For the sake of finally getting the horn on camera, I decided to drive down and come to this crossing as it's also close to home, esp. that they now upgraded Alt. 90 from a 4 lane road to a 6 lane highway that lasts until the Beltway (hence the overpass in the distance when I shift to the left to get the other grade crossing arm).

This is Train #2 from LAX to NOL. Lead unit is P42 #82, trailing is P42 #66
