Paneer Butter Masala

Paneer butter masala is one of the most famous paneer dish. Paneer butter masala is served in almost all indian restaurants and like by many people.this paneer butter masala recipe is easy to make.
Ingredient

- 2tbsp oil
- 3 medium onion chopped
- 1kg tomatoes
- 50g cashew nuts
- 70g butter
- 1 tbsp ginger/garlic paste
- 1/8tsp asafetida
- 1tbsp Kashmiri red chili powder
- 1tsp Kasoori methi powder
- 1/2tsp cardamom powder
- 1tsp garam masala powder
- 2tbsp tomato ketchup
- salt to taste
- 1/4cup fresh cream
- 100g paneer (cottage cheese)

Method
- heat oil in a pan, add onion and tomatoes and cook then until cooked
- let them cool completely and make smooth paste.
- take another pan, heat oil and butter and add asafetida, ginger/garlic paste sauté it
- add red chili powder and tomato puree.
- add all dry ingredients and ketchup and cook it for 2-3 minutes
- lastly add cream and paneer cubes, mix it well

note: - add little water if tomato gravy is very thick.
- for this recipe, its a best to use fresh, ripe red tomatoes
