As the events of this summers G8 summit protests has been evaluated. What many saw as a victory of the tactic of peaceful protest, seems to have been a strategy fom the German police, and its numerous international helpers, to create the illusion of a victory, when all the "victory" really was, where divided protestors walking for hours through fields, only breaching the the illusionary boundaries that German security forces had created just a week before the summit was to start.
