L'exposition Paris Magnum à l'Hôtel de Ville de Paris permet de découvrir ou redécouvrir Paris au travers du regard des plus grands reporters de l'agence Magnum tels que : Robert Capa, Harry Gruyaert, Henri Cartier-Bresson, Guy Le Querrec, Marc Riboud, Raymond Depardon, Martin Parr ou encore Abbas !
Créée en 1947, par entre autre Robert Capa et Henri Cartier-Bresson, l'agence a tout de suite eu un encrage à Paris. Première dans son genre, elle a permis aux photographes de conserver un droit de regard sur leurs photographies et même de les revendiquer en tant qu’œuvre d'art.
Andréa Holzherr, commissaire de l'exposition, présente l'exposition qui, forte de son succès, est prolongée jusqu'au 25 avril.

Founded in 1947 by Robert Capa and Henri Cartier-Bresson among others , the agency immediately had an anchorage in Paris. First of its kind, it allowed photographers to maintain control over their photographs and even claim them as a work of art.
