A brave drug store clerk in Philadelphia managed to snatch a BB gun away from a robber.

The incident unfolded on the evening of Tuesday, February 10th. The suspect walked through the doors of the CVS store and acted as if he was a normal customer.

His demeanor changed however, when he approached the counter and interacted with the 22 year-old female clerk. He brandished a BB gun and then passed a note to the victim which read "all the money in the cash register."

The worker began filling a white plastic bag with bills and when finished, she placed it on the counter. As the robber reached for the bag, she quickly swiped the BB gun and backed away from the register with the suspect's own weapon in her hand.

The man charged at the victim and assaulted her while attempting to grab the BB gun. She was punched a number of times in the head and suffered injuries that were listed as minor.
