My Alto Sax and Piano Cover of various songs in Pokemon.

When I stumbled upon Luis Matos's pokemon medley on musescore (https://musescore.com/luckyluv4_home_page7/scores/556496) I knew I had to do it. The countless hours I've spent on pokemon, listening to those repetitive 8 bit tunes.

Only now, years later, I've realized how essential the music was in creating such a successful and enjoyable game. I might not have too much time to play pokemon nowadays, but the music and the memories will 4eva be in my heart. (Wth did I just type......)
Nostalgia.

All the music in pokemon is amazing, and I definitely can't cover them all. Luis's arrangement was perfect, though I didn't do the pokemon gym theme for red/blue at the end because it would be too long, and st anne was my fav song out of kanto. (Ah the S.S. Anne sailing away, promising to come back... but never did........ Just like what is going to happen to my childhood)

The arrangement was so good with all the contrasting pieces, the grand opening everything you start the game, the home of pallet town, the joyous feeling going into Cerulean City after finally navigating your first hellish dungeon in Mt Moon, the laid-back-ness of the bicycle theme to the seriousness of pokemon league, all in one pice.

Learning this wasn't easy, I've made so many mistakes, due to the lack of practice because of how busy I've been at school, and also because it was hard to match the saxophone with the piano, mainly due to my horrible sense of timing. Hopefully this doesn't sound that horrible...

I don't have a tutorial, but if you want the notes and sheet music, its here:

Thanks so much to Luis Matos for his arrangements, check out all his other works.
