Inspecting A Bamboo Fly Rod

Chris Lantzy, custom rod maker, takes a few moments to inspect a Classical Series bamboo fly rod he made in his rod shop. The Classical Series is his middle-grade fly rod. This particular rod featured:

-Cap & ring reel seat with black aluminum hardware & rosewood spacer
-Rich red silk thread wraps with black silk tipping wraps
-Blued, Nickle-Silver strap & ring style hook keeper
-Blued Nickle-Silver winding check
-Red custom made rod bag with black embellishment stitches
-Black canvas covered PVC rod tube with padded ends, zippered closure, & leather name tag describing the rod inside
