Music, the one and only language that all humans understand and can use regardless of the language they speak every day. In the cinematic world it is the one element that needs no subtitles, no explanations and yet it is the piece of the composition which is most likely going to be the most impacting though you may not realize how much. I wanted to show how changing the music on a film can give it a totally different feel, it conveys different emotions and appeals to ones particular way of interpreting the images that accompany that music score.
It is so important that contrary to what many people think, you can't just slap on a new music score on images that were edited and cut for another piece of music. The new score requires to rethink all your cuts to ensure that the music flow is in harmony with your image movements. In this case it was done differently.
I asked Dragoljub aka Bamboocha a very talented composer - musician from Serbia to compose a music score for my well known film Bodega Riojana https://vimeo.com/87039668 His interpretation of the images and their distinct movement changes throughout the film inspired this very beautiful piece which I hope you will enjoy.
I am in no way suggesting that one is better than the other. They both speak with different words in the same universal language which is music. They tell you different things and touch you in different ways and not withstanding that one is not better than the other, I AM CONVINCED and absolutely sure that different people will like one more than the other and that's ok.
Enjoy
