Timothy Poole, the convicted sex offender who won 3 million dollars in the Florida Lottery, is being sued by 2 of his alleged victims.

In 1999, Poole was accused of abusing a 9-year-old boy. He denied the charges, but ultimately agreed to plead guilty to attempted sexual battery.

The Florida man was sentenced to time served and given 10 years probation, an arrangement that was revoked when he failed to show up for a counseling session.

More recently, he made headlines as a big winner of a state ticket prize, taking his payout in a 2.2 million dollar lump sum.

Since then, two brothers not linked to the previous case have come forward saying that Poole abused them when they were 5 and 9 years old.

The lawsuit alleges that the wrongdoing occurred in 1996 and endured for a year.

In the time following, they’re said to have suffered severe depression, pain, and post traumatic stress disorder.

The attorneys for the plaintiffs are requesting that Poole’s assets be frozen until the matter has been resolved.

As of 2010, the state of Florida has no statute of limitations on filings involving individuals who were sexually battered when under the age of 16.
