Dusk Wars Act 1 | Hell's Fury Part 2 | Mission 6 [Insane]
A Playthrough of the FreeSpace 2 Modification Dusk Wars Act 1 released by BTA in 2012, reimagined in 2013 and upgraded in 2014 on Insane Difficulty by Novachen.

We destroyed the first of the corvettes. Together with the BCv Jaspet and BCv Zydrine we are going to attack the last one to eliminate the Anshari threat in this system and to prevent an attack on the Orion Proxima node.
Hints:
The default loadout uses Moros/Ithca for Aenus and Kratos/Kratos for Byllis wing. Replace all weapons with Ithca's to rise the effectiveness of your fighters significantly.
This mission is again one of the easier ones.
Ignore the enemy capital ships, your own corvettes will handle them without problems.
Do not engage, instead keep formation with your corvettes until Anshari bombers show up.Now intercept the next wing of Nahema wing. You should have any problem to tear the whole wing of them apart alone, because they are only focused on the corvettes. Defend yourself against attacking fighters or help your wingmates in the task of destroying them, but keep the bombers at first on your list for potential targets. Unlike Ancient Shivan War, you can also intercept the bombs on close distance here, because they do not cause a shockwave.
If you encounter Incubus or Succubus fighters, call your wingmates for help to destroy them quickly, because they can be tough enemies.
Hold off the enemy fighters from your corvettes until both AEC Belphegor and AECv Shivore are down, the surviving enemies will retreat afterwards.
You can not save the corvettes against the incoming Amritaya juggernaught, so you are forced to watch how easy your corvettes fell under the enemy beams. Because you do not have anything to do, return to base to end this mission.
