Many of the original punches were most likely hot punches. This hot gin punch, favored by Mr. Micawber of Charles Dickens' novel, David Copperfield, is the perfect drink for celebrating the holiday season. Serve it to your guests from a tea pot into tea cups for an extra level of charm and sophistication!
