To raise money for the care of their small but important lighthouse on the Nova Scotia shore of the Bay of Fundy, the local recreation committee of Port George invited virtuoso guitar player and singer Hal Bruce for a second year. Although known for his rendition of Beatles songs, he treated the audience - and the many enthusiastic dancers - to an incredible diversity of styles, from Crredence Clearwater Revival material to Johny Cash, from Rolling Stones tunes to Simon and Garfunkel, from country tunes to The Who. An impressive performance lasting more than three hours - all with a smile. Here is a rendition of the "Celia/Cecilia" Simon and Garfunkel classic.
