"Somebody to Love" by Jefferson Airplane sung fabulously by a Halifax female singer as part of a group led by Nova Scotia musician Hal Bruce to celebrate the 40th anniversary of the Californian "Summer of Love". Love and joy are the main messages in the Grace Slick rock classic that was used as an anthem as well as a freedom theme in movies.
