Hungary: Police Accused of Victim-Bashing | Focus on Europe

A public safety video in Hungary has caused outrage. Intended as a rape-prevention film, it partially blames women for being sexually assaulted.
The video suggests that girls and young women who dress up and drink alcohol should expect to be targeted by rapists. Women’s rights groups have called the film misogynist. The right-wing government of populist prime minister Viktor Orban is known for its ultra-conservative family policies.
