Just after publishing a 6,000 page 'torture report' detailing the multitude of internationally condemned torture methods it used on post 9/11 terror suspects, many of whom never saw a lawyer, a trial, or were ever found guilty of anything other than being in the wrong place at the wrong time, the United States government is preparing to sanction Venezuela for alleged human rights violations.
