8kg Stingray Caught Surf Casting at Air Papan Beach, Mersing, Malaysia

Went to Air Papan Beach, 11km off Mersing, Malaysia for some Surf Cast fishing, as usual we used Whitting as bait, as taught by an angler I met while fishing here some times back. He shared with me how to cut the Whitting and the way of hoking it up, it's very useful tip as I managed to improve my catch rate after using his method. At around 11am, my friend's rod had a strong pulled, line was striped off, the Stingray had struck! The tug-of-war took around 15 minutes, and the Whitting proven to be effective again!
