While on vacation in Paris, Laurel and Hardy meet Georgette, an innkeeper’s daughter. Oliver is smitten with her, until he finds out she's already married to an officer in the French Foreign Legion. After a failed suicide attempt over his broken heart, but determined to move on, Ollie decides to sign them up for the Foreign Legion. However, the two quickly manage to muck things up and they end up on the wrong end of a firing squad. Naturally, the only way out is ... up! With effortless comic timing, hilarious sight gags, and yes—lots of airplane stunts—the legendary duo are flying high.
