Zelda-Inspired Cave Marriage Proposal Enchants

Harold met Lexi in 2012 and they instantly hit it off. By 2014, Harold felt ready to ask her the big question, but he wanted to do it right. Knowing Lexi was a massive fan of the Legend of Zelda, he had an idea. Harold crafted a small wooden treasure chest similar to that which a character receives in the game. He then lined the inside with LED lights and fitted a device to play music when the box opened.After sourcing Alexandrite gemstone and having it cut to fit a ring, Harold was almost ready. In another nod to Zelda, he popped the question in a cave. He chose the Lava River caves near Flagstaff, Arizona. After a long drive up and a slow exploration of the cave, they got to the spot where Lexi’s brother had secretly set up candles and was recording the moment.
