Nic Barrow Snooker Coaching Line Up Test - Can You Do It_.wmv

Play a line up and restrict yourself to 3 shots only.
No variation of these shots is allowed - just choose one of the three:
1. Follow
2. Screw (lowest part of the ball, so you just control the speed)
3. T Angle - playing the shot as a stop shot assuming the ball were straight, the cue ball will have no spin as it hits the object ball as the backspin will have worn off and the top spin wont have taken hold yet. On an angled pot, the cue ball will then fire off at 90 degrees to the path of the OBJECT ball. In pool they call it the Tangent Line.

The benefit of this practice is that you will simplify your positional shots to these three key anchor shots. Once you train your mind to see them the right shot will start to become more obvious to you as you will already have three reference shots in your mind before planning the position you want.
