Survival Under Atomic Attack is a 1951 film that tells viewers what to do in the event of an atomic attack. Put out by the Civil Defense, it is based on their hand book of the same name. It discusses the bombing of Hiroshima and Nagasaki. It claims that the Japanese people who were victims of the bombing would have been alright if they knew what was in the Civil Defense manual on the subject. One problem with this logic is the fat no one had ever possessed an atomic bomb before. It then goes on the explain how families can survive an atomic bombing. The whole film is ridiculous by today's standards with the fact we have missiles which would level entire cities and wipe out most of the population in them. This film is ridiculous even for it's time really. So you just know we had to riff it.
