Falling in Love With You recorded by The artist's Ensemble, a group of musicians assembled by the Columbia Phonograph Co. to record 8 sides in 1926-27. Columbia 846D, New York, 1926. Appearing in the silent movie scenes are Buster Keaton (farmhand), Sybil Seely (farmer's daughter) who was only 18 when she appeared in Scarecrow,, Joe Keaton (farmer), and Big Joe Roberts (Buster's Rival for Sybil), and the star of the movie Luke (the dog). Buster and Big Joe are both suitors for the lovely Sybil. When Buster sees Big Joe holding Sybil, he thinks all is lost and to make matters worse, he happens on Luke (the dog) who has just eaten Sybil's cream pie, intended for her father. Buster sees the cream on Lukes mouth and thinks Luke has gone mad. Buster runs out into the fields to hide in the hay, only to be dropped onto a conveyor, processed and spit out with the straw. At least he finds that Luke was not mad but only chasing him to be friends. Buster goes back to the farmhouse in his underwear which shocks innocent Sybil and enrages Sybil's father. Buster is chased to a cornfield where he steals a scarecrow's clothes, the farmer's stash of whiskey, and a kiss from Sybil. Sybil, unnerved at being kissed by a scarecrow, heads for the woods. Buster tries to find her and while kneeling to tie his shoes is found by Sybil who thinks he is proposing. They elope on a stolen motorcycle accidentally running into a priest who falls onto the motorcycle sidecar. He marries them before Sybil's father, the owner of the motorcycle, and Big Joe, all in hot pursuit, can catch them.
