Do Something - Hot Antic Jazz Band 2004

A highlight of recorded jazz in 1929 was the music of reedplayer Don Redman’s McKinney Cottonpickers. One of the hottest tunes was one called “DoSomething”
Hot Antic at their 25th anniversary concert invites Daniel Huck alto sax and former band member Jean Francois Bonnel on tenor sax to join them in this hot piece.
Both saxophone solos by Daniel as well as Jean Francois are of the highest level and these French giants can stand up against any international competition from today and from any of these great musicians from the early jazz days. What a wonderful concert!
