Shimme sha wabble Hot Antic Jazz Band 1985
In 1985 there was a large traditional Jazz Festival in Toronto, Canada. Chris Barber's Band, Ken Colyer's Jazzmen came from England and The Hot Antic Jazz Band from France was there as well. We in the Climax Jazz Band had become good friends with the Hot Antic because we had met them for the first time at the Scottish Edinbrough Festival.
One of the Toronto festival sites was in our regular club called Jake's Boathouse in Brampton. We had a night where both our bands played and of course jammed together as well. I had my camera with me and made some dia's. A year later I got my first Sony film camera and edited some of the pictures together with a track from the Hot Antic. Now, more than 20 years later I found this little try...so, why not process it in dailymotion. Some of the blue shirted guys are actually members of our band There we go: Shimme Sha Wabble.
