Marchesa mark tenth anniversary with London show

Marchesa's 2015 Spring collection show added some red carpet glamour to London Fashion Week on Saturday (September 13). Designer duo Georgina Chapman and Keren Craig, who usually present their work at New York Fashion Week relocated to the British capital for a one-off special to mark the brand's tenth anniversary. Both Chapman and Craig are originally from Britain and met during their studies in London before founding Marchesa in 2004. Chapman and Craig's glamourous ball gowns have become a favourite choice among the likes of Jennifer Lopez, Eva Longoria and Sandra Bullock, who wore Marchesa at the Academy Awards in 2012 when she won Best Actress for "The Blind Side". Following Saturday's show at Banqueting House in Central London, Chapman told Reuters that the idea for a London show had been there for some time.
