A plate of warm steaming dalia is what Veena teaches you to make this morning.

Ingredients

1 bowl of dalia (broken wheat)

½ bowl of carrot finely chopped

1 medium sized tomato finely chopped

1 medium sized potato finely chopped

1 medium sized onion finely chopped

½ bowl of green peas

¼ tsp of haldi (turmeric powder)

1 tsp of dhaniya powder (coriander powder)

Salt to taste

½ tsp of red chilli powder

½ tsp of mustard seeds

3 tbsp of vegetable oil

2 ½ bowl of water

1 inch piece of ginger

2 green chillies finely chopped

8- 10 curry leaves

Few coriander leaves, finely chopped
