Uniappam is a tradition temple offering in Kerala. Made with rice, jaggery and banana, Uniappams are perfect for a sweet snack. In Malayalam, unni means small and 'appam means rice cake. Uniappams are irresistibly sweet, fried in ghee till golden brown for a delightful tea time snack.
Ingredients-
1 cup of red rice batter ( idili batter consistency)
1 banana
½ cup jaggery syrup
½ cup of fried coconut pieces
3 tbs ghee
1 tsp sesame seeds
4-5 crushed cardamom seeds
