Artist Ko Young-hoon's "Homage to the Being"
Ko Young-hoon, Korea's representative realist painter, breaks the boundary between illusion and reality and pays homage to all existing beings in the world through his exhibition. Original Korean Opera "Soul Mate”
The original Korean opera "Soul Mate” received rave reviews from European critics at its premiere in Frankfurt, Germany in 2006. The opera is bound to captivate people once again as part of the 2014 Korea Opera Festival, which celebrates its 5th anniversary. "Soul Mate”, based on the play "Maeng Family's Happy Occasion”, depicts Koreans' old outlook on marriage, as well as the pure love of young people. In addition, the opera showcases both the essence of Korean beauty and Western operas, providing an enhanced viewing experience.
