British artist among two killed in deadly Portugal blast

A Briton and a Luxembourg national have been killed in an explosion in southern Portugal.

Paul Fonk and Briton Glynn Uzzell, a world-renowned artist, are believed to have died instantly.

The blast happened in a villa in the Algarve, a popular tourist destination.

Originally thought to have been a gas explosion, authorities later found all gas bottles intact. The cause of the blast remains unclear.
