Me playing the organ at Norbury Baptist Church in south London.

The organ was built in the late 1960s by the John Compton Organ Company Ltd (at this time known as 'Compton Organs Ltd') for a private residence and is the 363 electrone model. This organ was given to the church in the early 1970s when the church had to replace their pipe organ.

Sadly the organ is not in the best condition at the moment and I was not able to play the pedals due to the bass almost invisible. However, the organ is a splendid instrument which could easily be brought back to tip top condition! These instruments are now extremely rare and should be preserved at every given opportunity.

I am playing the hymn 'Because thou hast said' to the tune 'Paderborn'.

Many thanks to the church officials for kindly allowing me access to what is becoming a rare example of a Compton electronic organ.
