Tolino, the German Kindle | Made in Germany

German bookstore chains have been closing branches on a massive scale for years, in large part because they missed the boat when it came to online retailing. So it was a desperate move when the major bookselling chains teamed up with Deutsche Telecom to take on Amazon. They developed their own e-reader: the Tolino.
