With the introduction of the Starbucks' new Fizzio carbonation machine, Starbucks will soon be offering their own selection of sodas.
The initial sodas offered are Golden Ginger Ale, Spiced Root Beer, and Lemon Ale. These new types of beverages are a strategic move to increase sales during non-morning hours of the day.
The sodas are made without artificial flavors, preservatives, or high-fructose corn syrup and clock in at just 100 calories for a 16-ounce Grande beverage, sadly, also caffeine free.
What do you guys think? If you've already been trained and tasted them, what are your initial thoughts? Concerns? Ideas for some cool custom creations? (Spiced Root Beer with Vanilla Bean Frappuccino=Root Beer Float?) Are you uncertain that the time required for the carbonating process is too long and will throw a wrench in the morning routine?
